Wagering calculator

Enter a bonus, its wagering multiplier and whether it applies to the bonus or to deposit + bonus to see the real turnover you have to wager — and what clearing it costs. It’s the number the headline “100% up to $1,000” never shows.

You must wager
$35,000
Expected cost to clear
$1,400
That’s
35× your bonus

A $1,000 bonus at 35× (bonus only) means $35,000 of wagering to clear it — 35× the bonus. On 4% house-edge games, that turnover costs about $1,400 in expected losses, more than the bonus itself — the hurdle the headline hides.

How the wagering requirement works

The formula is qualifying amount × the wagering multiplier. A $1,000 bonus at 35x on the bonus alone is $35,000 of wagering; if the multiplier applies to deposit + bonus, you multiply both, which roughly doubles the requirement. Only games that count toward wagering requirements move the bar — slots usually count 100%, table and live games often a fraction or nothing.

The figure that matters most is the expected cost to clear: turnover × the game’s house edge. That’s why a big-looking match can cost more in expected losses than the bonus is worth — and why free-spin winnings and low max-bet caps matter. Wagering calculator — FAQ

How is a bonus wagering requirement calculated?

Turnover = the qualifying amount × the wagering multiplier. If the multiplier applies to the bonus only, a $1,000 bonus at 35x is $35,000 to wager. If it applies to deposit + bonus, you multiply both — so a $100 deposit + $1,000 bonus at 35x is $38,500.

Does wagering apply to my deposit too?

It depends on the operator. Many crypto casinos wager the bonus only, but some (e.g. Shuffle) apply the multiplier to deposit + bonus — which roughly doubles the real requirement. Always check which one the terms state; the calculator lets you toggle between them.

What does it actually cost to clear a bonus?

Wagering that turnover has an expected cost equal to turnover × the game’s house edge. On $35,000 of 4% house-edge slots that’s about $1,400 in expected losses — often more than the bonus itself. That is the hurdle the headline offer hides.
